Whitelisting
Staff
The moderation team — player reports, ban appeals and the rules that hold the city together.

What the role involves
- Answering reports in the Discord on rostered shifts, and picking up what is left over.
- Investigating player reports: clips, logs, and both sides of the story.
- Handling ban appeals, including ones where the answer stays no.
- Sitting in on escalations where two staff members disagree.
- Writing rulings clearly enough that a player who lost still understands why.
- Feeding recurring problems back to the rules and development teams.
What we expect
Falling short is how people lose the whitelist.
- You apply the rules the same way to your friends as to strangers.
- You hand off any report where you are involved, without being asked.
- You never use staff tooling to affect a scene you are playing in.
- You explain decisions. “Because staff said so” is not a ruling.
- You keep what people tell you private, including from the players you queue with.
How this application is handled
Submit
Answer everything in one sitting if you can. You cannot edit an application once it is in, so read it back first.
Review
Two members of the recruiting team read it independently. You hear back within 7 business days either way.
Interview
A 30-minute voice interview on Discord. Expect scenarios, not trivia — we want to hear how you think.
Outcome
Accepted, and you start with a mentor on your first shift. Declined, and you get the reason plus when you can apply again.
